In Spain the dead are buried above ground. This tradition together with the sensitive architectural design for the cemetery created quite a powerful space.

Tarragona has a lot of Roman ruins; we happened upon this beautiful square with an outdoor market that integrated an old Roman wall. Tarragona ma vela Rimskych....rujen? asi nie... pozostatkov; nasli sme krasne namesticko s trhom medzi starymi Rimskymi stenami. Posted by Picasa

Enjoying being tourists in Tarragona. (I try to blend-in in Barcelona :-) Pacilo sa mi byt turista v Tarragone. (V Barcelone sa snazim splyvat s ostatnimi :-) Posted by Picasa

On saturday we went to Tarragona, about an hour long train ride from Barcelona. What looks like - quoting IB "little penguins" are surfers right by the train station. Posted by Picasa

This picture looks to me like an illustration from a children's book. Posted by Picasa
